Sky apps on Mac air

Just purchased a Mac air M3 problem is I can't get sky go or sky sports apps there not on the app store I've tried to download from there website and that's as far as it will go it's not just the sky apps it's YouTube Ancestry and other well known apps is there a problem that I don't know about that's stopping the apps from loading on my laptop
