Skygo App on PC wont play searched items

Hello,

i use the app almost everyday on my pc to watch shows (mainly the soaps) as they appear earlier than the corresponding websites. but today when i turned on my pc there was a lot of issues. everytime i tried to open the app it would crash my pc and eventually after a couple of crashes my pc finally open the app but when i go to watch something then it says Adverts with nothing on the screen and refuses to do anything. after about 5 minutes i close it and it doesnt close it stays there for about 2-3 minutes then acts as if i closed the show. then closes the app.

any advice would be greatly appreciated. i dont know if the app having issues or if it my pc or what. everything else i am using on the pc is working fine.

Try uninstalling and then installing the app again:

Uninstall the Sky Go app and then go to 'C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming (ensure hidden files/folders are visible) and delete the following folders:

Sky
Sky Go

And if it is present (it might not be) the Cisco and/or Synamedia folder in App\Data\LocalLow.
Empty your recycle bin.

Reboot your PC and then download and install the Sky Go app again via here:

so your answer got it to work but it is now freezing on adverts.
