Sky app in PS3 not working

I have the sky app on a PS3 but when I launch the app all I get is a blank screen with a white sidebar. It then locks up and the only way to exit is to close the app. So does the sky app work on a PS3

If you mean the Sky Go app, I think PS3 support ended a while ago*: realistically it's an antique bit of hardware.

*The internet says mid-January 2021
