Antivirus protection can have no effect on broadcast Freeview channels. It's also extremely unlikely to impact Freeview Play (the online adjunct to broadcast Freeview) or the Freely app.

In addition, there isn't really any antivirus through Sky Broadband anyway, apart from an extremely legacy McAfee download for computers years ago.

You may be thinking of Broadband Shield, which is internet filtering, not antivirus.

I am currently experiencing an issue with viewing Freeview channels, which come along with my TV.

I believe that this may be due to sky having an anti virus block on my sky account and was wondering if this may be removed please.
