Change my username and password

I am not at my property to make changes on my TV. I have changed my e mail address so I do not have a username that is recognised. I have forgotten my password. I want to watch Sky on Sky Go. I have downloaded the SkyGo app on my phone. But I can't log in as I do not have a username or password. I pay Sky £108 per month just fir TV so speaking to a human would have been nice !

I've had my sky account for a long time and I must have been asked initially when creating it for not only my email address but a word to use as my 'username' as now even though I just sign in with my email address under my sky profile when I click on the little man icon in the top right corner it shows my actual name and underneath my sky ID as not my email address (which I signed in as) but this old Username. There doesn't seem to be anywhere that you can change the Username. If you go to My Details and then Sky ID, You can change the name, email address and password but not the Username. It's really frustrating as it's a username that means nothing to me these days so want to change it. Any ideas?

You can't change your main primary username as it is used to sign into your main account.

But you can sign in to your main account with your email address which is what I always do and you can change the email address but not the username associated with it? Seems very odd to me.

That's the way it works I'm afraid. You can create a new Sky ID with the username you choose if you wish.

If I do that though how do I associate my account with that new sky id? And could I then delete the old sky id? Will I lose anything in the process? Seems a strange way of going about it when they could simply allow you to change the sky id username. Oh well

Another thought, If I add an additional sky id user to my account, can I then make the new one the primary sky id account holder?

You can't set up another Primary Sky ID:

Thanks for the info. Oh well. Looks like I'm stuck with it.

On this old created sky ID I can't even change the name showing on these sky community posts. Tried everything but it still just shows as Paul+Dray for some reason.

Your username on your account can not be changed so changing your email address will not have changed the username part so if you can't remember the password that you can reset it here:

https://skyid.sky.com/resetpassword/

Once you have done this then you can use your Sky ID to login to the Sky Go app with.
