BBC 1 & 2 + CNN Not available on Sky Go Apps

This has been an ongoing problem for sometime now and i have been a SKY VIP customer for sometime and with SKY since the 90's but it seems nobody in the Sky technical team knows what is going on or how to fix the issue.

I have always had SkyGo and never had any issues accessing the afformentione dchannels (BBC One & Two + CNN and few others) via the app AS LONG as it was connected to my Sky Box.

About a year ago I dont know what changed but when i try to watch these channels i receive errors. BBC One & Two claims to be registerinf my device for the past year and with CNN error code 2004 comes up.

I am currently on a call with technical department being passed around 6/7 different 'experts' being asked to confirm security details with each person and nothing. What on earth is going on.

Are you still a Sky Q customer and if you are do you still have multiscreen on your account ?

Yes I have multiscreen as well as Sky Sports HD, TNT, HD and Ultra HD and 1 MINIBOX

when i try to watch these channels on my android app i receive errors. BBC One & Two claims to be registering my device for the past year and with CNN error code 2004 comes up.

when trying to watch those three on my desktop i get sky error pfe 9049-ih

One thing to try if you haven't already is:

On your Sky box go to Settings > Status. Go across to " Watch via Sky Go app" and then across to "Reactivate" and click on it.

Thanks for your response. This has been an ongoing issue for a year plus and i have tried your suggestion before many times, including today however that hasnt managed to resolve the situation

Having the same issue and sky doesnt seem to have an answer everytime i call.. this is getting frustrating
