Sky Go error message

On screen message reads:

An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file: DeleteFile failed; code 5

Does anyone know how to resolve this?

What are you trying to do with the Sky Go app, install it on a PC or is this appearing when you are opening it ?

I also have the same problem after having problem with previously installed skygo on my android laptop. I deleted the skygo program and tried to reinstall via the skygo installer on the internet. Before the error message "An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file: DeleteFile failed; code 5

I have following: C:\users\bruxx\appdata\roamning\sky\sky\ffmpeg.dll so it looks like the .dll file is the problem.

any assistance would be appreciated

Obviously a major issue same problem and sky seem powerless or unwiling to solve so frustrating

It can't be a major issue seeing that nobody has posted in this topic since 2024 so what have you tried so far to fix it ?
