Having issues downloading sky go from Xbox apps

We're in temporary accommodation in between house moves. We don't have a smart tv here. Sky have said we can download the Sky Go app from Xbox console but we're struggling.... any help out there..... pleeeeeease

Sky said go to apps on the Xbox & search for sky go, he said it was definitely there...... but isn't on ours..... do I need a certain version of Xbox console?

Try searching for TV from Sky as it used to be called this instead, not sure if it still is.

What xbox do you have because according to this list it is available only on Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X:

Just checked the store on my Xbox Series X and it is there as the first item in the results listed as Sky Go

Press the X (NOT the blue X button, the guide button) button on your controller, press RT then move across twice to the store icon and press A,

press A again to search, then type SKY GO and press A again

Hi, we pressed X, was presented with the Xbox guide, but nothing with RT on n it...... we're obviously doing something wrong 😑

RT + Right Trigger the store icon is at the bottom of the guide (looks like a shopping bag with four squares cut out)

I have iced ns on the Xbox home menu, but not the store one you describe... if I press right trigger ( assuming this is the horizontal button above the 4 coloured buttons I move to the media menu..... ?

Go to the Guide select the icon at the bottom of the slide out between the Game pass icon and the magnifying glass icon

RT is just a shortcut to move to the bottom icons (jumps to the bell icon the first on the bottom row) in the guide, you can do this with down on the left joystick or down on the d-pad

BTW, RT is under RB, RB does nothing on the guide

Hi Annie, thank youso much for your patience.... I'm going to try & attach a photo of what I'm looking at in the guide menu....cant find the icons you mention tho 😞

That explains it, you have an Xbox 360 and NOT an Xbox One, there is no Sky Go app for that console
