Paying for Sky Go

I've got sky television and it includes sky sports, I can't watch anything on Sky Go. I've just been told on the phone that I need to pay an extra £6 to be able to watch on my phone. This can't be right, can it?

You do not need to pay for Sky Go Extra as you can login to the app with your Sky ID and watch the same channels and content that you can via your Sky box. You will be unable to view your recordings from your Sky Q box as this does requite an extra subscription (multiscreen) but that apart you can use Sky Go to view all other content.

Yeah so in that case you certainly shouldn't be paying the extra £6 for Sky Go extra as you don't need that to watch via mobile.
