Watching downloaded items with no data connection.

I downloaded a couple of programs onto my laptop to watch while camping. There was no internet or mobile phone signal on the site, on starting the SkyGo app it started checking for updates and then got stuck as it couldn't up date. Is there a way of stopping the checking for updates so this doesn't happen?

I'm afraid not, the PC version will check for updates when first turned on and as such there is no setting that can be changed to stop it.
