Can't set recordings on Sky Go

I believe i shiukd be abkecto use Sky Go to set recordings on my Sky Q box. However there doesn't seem to be a record button against individual programmes even though this is what is said on the help pages. I can play live TV on Sky Go so assume it is connected to the Sky Q box but the Help pages say I should have a notification on my Android phone that it is connected but I don't.

Also other posts say there should be a Record to box option at the top of the tv guide but I can't see that on Sky Go

There should be an option just at the top of the TV Guide above where it says "All Channels" so make sure you are looking at the front page of the TV Guide and not a certain channel.

Thanks but all that is above the All Channels dropdown is the Settings icon.

No I haven't got that section at all, I'm on Android but presumably shouldn't matter.

@MikeHaThe android app looks very similar unless you have Glass/stream in which case you can't set recordings.
