Hi,

Anybody using this app on the Apple TV streamer?Is it any good please?Most importantly if it is streamed via a tethered Sky mobile phone hotspot is the data free as it is if you stream via the Sky Go app on a phone?

Actually I'm not sure that's the case.

Using a Go app on the phone and then mirroring the screen output of that app to the Apple TV using Airplay should be 'free' because it's the phone receiving the data directly from Sky Mobile.

Using the phone as a 'hotspot' for the Apple TV is different: the Go app doesn't 'know' the data is coming from Sky Mobile because the Apple TV is seeing local WiFi, not a cellular signal.

What versions of AppleTV does SkyGo work on? 2nd gen? Or which?
