Sky go not working

Why is sky go so bad. Most of the times when using it on my iPhone, no video or sound comes through. I have to use the sky sports news app to watch sports on the go!
Now I'm having issues with sky go desktop, I can't access my recordings page. It is just a blue screen

We pay all this money for sky and the service has been terrible for quite a while now. The apps need updating badly

If you want to watch the Sky Sports channels then there is the Sky Sports app that you can use.

For the desktop issue have you tried a complete removal:

Uninstall the Sky Go app and then go to 'C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming (ensure hidden files/folders are visible) and delete the following folders:

Sky
Sky Go

And if it is present the Cisco and/or Synamedia folder in App\Data\LocalLow.
Empty your recycle bin.

Reboot your PC and then download and install the Sky Go app again.

Thanks for the reply, but having to reinstall the software every couple of months is not really a good enough solution for me, I don’t have to do that with other software.

Also having to use a different app is also not a solution I'm really happy with either.

I've been using Sky go for years now and there has always been issues with the service on mobile and desktop, I would have thought by now, and with all their resources, Sky would have been able to get a stable app produced, as most other apps and software I use are.
