Does the Xbox Sky Go record TV ?

Hey,

I recently moved into a new flat but couldn't take my Sky Q as I couldn't fit a dish.

I signed up for stream, but do miss recording my regular shows.

The advisor mentioned the xbox Sky go can do the recording for me, but not sure if I misunderstood her.

If I add series link(not even sure if that's possible), would it automatically down load weekly episodes of my shows?

The Go app on a console does not record content: it can access the recordings of 'its' main Sky Q box when that is on the same local network.
