How to add Sky Go Extra?

Hi, I'm trying to login into the Sky Go app on Xbox Series S but it's now saying that I can't use Sky Go on this device yet. You'll need a Sky Q Multiroom, Sky Glass Whole Home or Sky Go Extra subscription.

There has never been a requirement to have a Sky Go Extra subscription in the past to access Sky Go on the Xbox. Has this been changed now? If so, how do I add a Sky Go Extra subscription to my account. I've been a customer for 23 years and I don't want to pay extra for this service but need to know how to add it in the first place as I can't find anything in the my Sky login pages.

Sky Go Extra has always been a requirement for Console use, it's just that the old TV from Sky app did not validate this requirement properly

Try checking the MySky app to see if the free offer for Sky Go Extra is still available, if not give Sky a call and see what they can do
