Ipad and iphone watched not synced across

I have been watching apps on my ipad and when wanting to carry on watching this hasnt synced across.
I am signed in on both using the same account so not sure what is wrong. Please can you hrlp to resolve this?

Hi,

It doesnt sync if you watch something on Sky Go via catch up. It seems to store it locally on the device and not sync it via icloud. It does the same on the Apple TV app as well.

It does however sync with the Sky Q box if you have multiscreen, so if watching a recording its quite good at knowing where you left off, and updating the Sky Q box with where you left off on Sky Go.

Thanks, they need to look into enabling this. Other apps like iplayer and itvx does it so you would think sky go would too

Sky Go is the only app I'm having to search to get continue watching in line with what's on the tablet I'm replacing, wasn't expecting to have to, all the others have retained the info for my user id.

And 3 years later it is still a problem. I hate Sky Go. Other TV apps leave it for dust.
