Disappearing subtitles

When I watch a streamed programme on channel 5 I get the requested subtitles for the first section, then they disappear. After the first ad break, they are gone and I cannot get them back.

Has anyone else had this? How did you solve it?

I have the same problem. It is so annoying, I have to go into settings after every advert and reset the subtitles. Why do the subtitiles disappear after an advert.

Just come out and go back in they then re appear. A bit annoying but at least you get them back
