Controlling Sky from another location

I have difficulty changing channels on my Sky Q box. My family need to support me putting my Sky box on a sports channel and leaving it there for me to watch all day.
Is there a way for them to control my sky Q box remotely from their house

Not that I'm aware of. Sky Q is nearing the end of life and perhaps has 4 years left so it's unlikely any kind of remote connection will become an available function now.

@JGSword so far as I'm aware, this has only ever been possible via the now long defunct Slingbox. It looks like there are the odd one or two remaining on sale - whether or not they can still remotely control a Sky Q box, I don't know.
