topic Un happy with subtitles explanation in Sky Accessibility

Hello, please can you help me or explain what is happening with the subtitles on sky programes. I realise that not all programmes will have subtitles and that I can accept. However, my problem is - an example - firstly I am virtually deaf so I cannot watch any programme that doesn't have subtitles, I wanted to watch the series called the cockfields. I cannot remember what channel I watched first but they were there. Then suddenly when I went to watch they were gone!! Between my son and I we discovered I could watch them on terrestrial tv WITH SUBTITLES...that was fine, it was on the new channel "U". Then I went into it to watch the last three episodes and the programme the cockfields had completely disappeared with or without subtitles!!! It seems the programme has now moved U GOLD but....yes you've guessed it NO SUBTITLES. Does sky ever take into consideration of the hard of hearing when they mess around with it. Why do they appear and then disappear with out any notification of what's happening. It is bad enough to loose your hearing without a large company like sky messing with the programmes like this. Subsequently I still don't know how the series ends, and looks like I never will. I very much look forward to your reply and explanation please. Mrs A Rees-Williams Powys.

Would suggest emailing the Sky Viewer relations team to report this issue.

ViewerR@sky.uk
They do respond to emails with any updates for your queries or problems and will pass such feedback onto the relevant Sky teams, or in this case a third party broadcaster.

Perhaps note that UKTV Media Limited is owned by BBC Studios (the commercial arm of the British Broadcasting Corporation) rather than Sky Group, a division of Comcast.
