Any ideas why subtitles on all channels can stop working, even though they are turned on under settings? I've reported this numerous times now to Sky. Sick of rebooting the box every day.

Try this - when subtitles break, help - "?" - so it should show "english" as subtitles are supposed to be there, then hit "?" again, which dumps you into general Sky Q help, then exit that (button which is a square with an arrow in) and Subtitles will resume. This works for me everytime so far, so would nice if another user could confirm...

Cool - am not going mad then! It's was a very random discovery- Hopefully it help others, and maybe help Sky locate the root issue!

Well my subtitles went off again today and I tried it and voila back they came! When I spoke with Sky they really had no clue why it happens. They blame Red Bee Media and anyone apart from themselves of course!!

My Theory - yet to be proven, but when the box switches on, if either the program or channel it starts up on has no subtitles, then the main subtitles switch goes off?
