HBOMax who?

I am trying to setup HBOMax and following all of the instructions. I get to the HBO signin and get an error message that sounds as if it is region locked? I have attempted all of the troubleshooting, but seem to just be having no luck. Anyone else experiencing this issue??

There were a couple of people the other day who had similar and from memory, it was because their original HBO account was set up abroad. I think it was HBO who had to resolve it for them by switching emails around. Of course I can't find the post now...

@KatBow @Me134 is correct this has come up number of times recently and is something only HBO themselves can resolve but they will need an alternative email address first
