Screen Fuzzy for Sky News on Samsung TV

The Sky News channel on Samsung TV is fuzzy with distorted sound. The issue is only found with this channel and I have the same problem on both TV's in the house.

Does anyone know if action is being taken to resolve it?

I'm having the exact same issue. I've tried everything I can think of. Sounds like a Sky issue.

I'm having the same issue. When the adverts come on, the screen goes back to normal, and as soon as the news plays again, it goes all fuzzy and distorted.

Also have same issue. It's through Samsung, but not when accessed through NowTV. It's such a pain having to use that as workaround - drilling in, finding channel etc. problem existed yesterday too. GBNews is NOT an option.

Yeah it's still completely screwed via Samsung TV+.

You can watch live on YouTube instead - the live feed is fine on there.

its not just Samsung - Its happening to my Samsung TV but I was in currys today and thought I'd check the situation on a LG tv which has a similar "LG Channels" and Sky News was all fuzzy and distorted there too...its definetly a problem at Sky not the Samsung. I cant find any aknolwedgement for it from Sky on internet though.

We have the same issue but it's not isolated just to Samsung as we also have a Hisense TV and the issue exists on there too.

@Shoop1 Sky monitor all their output for both Satellite & Glass/Stream channels, the issue here is we don't know how the Fast channels are sent or received by Samsung, LG etc, so the issue may not be with Sky's output per se.

How they receive such channels and whether the channel provider monitors the output seperately is up for debate.

It may be worth reaching out to Viewer Relations ViewerR@sky.uk if they can advise or help they will let you know.

I have the Now app on the TV and the transmission is fine when using that app. The fault is only present when using Samsung TV.

The fast channel for Sky News live on my LG via LG channels and Hisense via Live Vidaa TV has the problem.

This is what it looks like on the LG;

Best option would be to send an email to the Sky Viewer relations team to report it;
ViewerR@sky.uk
They do respond to emails with any updates for your queries or problems.

If it's been reported to Viewer Relations then it should (eventually) get passed to the right team who can waggle the right cable and get it sorted.

In the meantime just use the YouTube app on your TV - the Sky News live feed is perfectly fine on there.
