I was recently given Sky Cinema and Paramount + for free. Wouldn't it be lovely if sky would consider giving elderly people (i.e. over 90) a choice of a free programme?. As one of those I would choose sky sports instead of Cinema or Paramount+

I'm afraid Sky are unlikely to consider anything along the lines of what you're suggesting. For starters any such scheme would be abused. A family could have an elderly relative living with them who have no interest in Sports or Cinema but what you're proposing is that that family would have free access to a channel/s that the 90+ year old would never watch.

Sky spends literally billions of pounds to acquire sports rights: it's extremely unlikely they would be prepared to give such content away.
