In all fairness that's not something other customers can help you with. The battery compartment is the same as those in other electrical appliances.

Perhaps seek the help of a family member, friend or neighbour if you can't do it.

@Me106- remote for which device? How did you remove the cover - I'm thinking you may have separated the front and back of the remote rather than sliding the battery cover off. That might explain why you can't get the batteries out.
