No sound on sky news on Samsung tv

Yesterday the sound stopped on sky news, I watch it on my Samsung tv through channel 4551. Sound is working on all other channels

@MichaelWood That sounds like a Samsung FAST Channel issue, have your tried restarting your Samsung TV?

Might be worth trying a broadband router restart.

You could also let Sky know via sending an email to the Sky Viewer relations team to report it, as it is a Sky channel.

They do respond to emails with any updates for your queries or problems and will pass onto third parties.

I've just checked the Samsung TV+ stream of Sky News on my Samsung TV and it's the same - no audio whatsoever.

You can always watch Sky News live on YouTube for free in the meantime whilst we wait for Samsung to fix it. It works fine on there.

The exact same thing has happened to me. It would seem that it is not our individual systems at fault, but a Samsung/Sky News issue.

This has happened to me since yesterday... Samsung S23 and two different Samsung TVs. I messaged Samsung help through their Community channel and they didn't really understand. Just wanted me to clear caches and check for updates.

I have the same issue so I guess it is not our equipment it is sky. All other channels have sound it's just the Sky News channel on Samsungs inbuilt channels as I don't have an Ariel or any boxes attached.

I have the same issue and happened at same time . All channels fine on my Samsung tv except for sky news . Therefore it must be a Samsung/Sky issue

It's July 11 and still sky News has no sound on the Samsung TV app all of the channels such as CNN GB news all working properly but sky News still has no sound. This has been going on now for several days

All Samsung TVs have the YouTube app pre-installed. You can stream Sky News live on there - and yes, the audio works.

Or, if you have an aerial attached, it's on channel 233 on the DTT FTA tuner in SD-only.

That's not the point. I don't have any aerial and I have to log into YouTube and select the channel. TV Plus automatically goes to the channel when you turn the TV on.

Yeah I get that. I was only trying to be helpful to others who may not be aware that Sky News is available by other means on Samsung TVs until Sky/Samsung sort out the issue with the TV+ stream.
