Recording Celebrity Big Brother on Virgin Media Two HD (Ireland)

I recorded last night's Celebrity Big Brother (8 April) on Virgin Media Two HD. I went to watch the recording today and it says it's on STV, which STV is not available in Ireland.

On the Recordings menu, it shows it broadcast on Virgin Media Two, but going into the programme, it says STV.

I'm not sure if this is a Sky issue or a Virgin Media Television issue.

(P.S. I should have clarified that I'm using Sky Q in Ireland)

I;m in England but I often see the STV icon on ITV1 recordings I have - but they play OK.

But STV's recordings are blocked on the EPG in Ireland, so I can't view it.

Is that a recording or a download?

Sometimes with programmes, I find where the first 'Continue' button is, it will try to download (even where there is a rerecording of the episode).

I would also play a recording by clicking the image itself, rather than the top Continue button.

It's specifically recording and trying to watch the recording from Virgin Media Two HD. If I watch it on-demand (as I had to), the logo changes to Virgin Media Two HD.

No, as the programme is declared as being from STV, and STV is not available in Ireland, it will not play. I forgot what it said originally (as I watch the on-demand version and this version replaced it), but it said something like "This programme is not available in your region".

I've also noticed that when I record The Repair Shop on Quest, it brings me to RTÉ Two and provides the downloaded version from RTÉ Two.

Basically, think of it like a regional thing. If Celebrity Big Brother is recorded on UTV in Northern Ireland, it may show it as being from ITV London as this may be the default. (Possible example, I don't know exactly how it works). It seems like Virgin Media Television forgot to update the metadata for the programme and the owner was left as STV, so when I go and try to play it, it declares the owner as STV and I can't watch it.

I prefer to record it, simply because Virgin Media doesn't always have CBB: Late and Live on demand/streaming. Last year, I missed David Potts' winner interview as it wasn't on Virgin Media Play.
