I bought the Dubois Vs Joshua fight but was unable to watch it live. I am now home and I wish to watch the event I paid for online.

How do I go about this?

What device do you want to watch it on as usually you would just tune to the box office channel at the time the next repeat is being shown.

Id like to know your opinions,on box office events,now there was a big fight on sky box office last night,and sometimes i like watching big fights,now ve got the full package with sky,and i got it a bit cheaper ,i had to take a new contract out a few months ago to get it cheaper,but even so im totally against paying for box office events when im already paying for the full package,now it wouldnt hurt sky to let people that have the full package have the box off ice event at leats for half price,when you think of it the fight pretty much is shown on you tube for free shortly afterwards,anyway tats my opinion.

It's up to promoter of the event to decide they want it to PPV and then, as contracts allow, negotiate with various PPV providers deals for them to broadcast the show. The promoter would typically get a % cut from each provider for the total number of buys the PPv gets.

Its not uncommon for boxing PPVs to be available on multiple PPV providers in the UK ( Sky sports box office, tnt sports box office, DAZN). Typically the prices across the providers will be very similar, if not identical, and some providers ( generally with the agreement of the promoter) offer small discounts for early pre-orders a couple of days before the event.

@sweetheart4321 My opinion is if you want to watch something then pay for it, you have an unrealicistic expectation that Sky should give services away for free and its completely unrealistic(in one of your other threads you thought Sky should be given free for a few months for all pensioners).

Coverage was very average. I also don't think we should have to pay another cost on top of the prices we already paying and not including all the issues at present

well Dave im not surprised what you said,because i have noticed on this sky community site,that no one ever says anything bad against sky themselves.

You clearly aren't reading the right threads then, as there are plenty of threads on the forum where users, including superusers, do voice negative opinions of Sky. Sky aren't perfect, no company is.

Don't forget Sky is a business and is therefore in the business of making money, and they have to work with other businesses ( e.g boxing promotions) to make deal where both companies can and will make money. Essential service like phone and broadband are essentially services and thus more regulated, pay TV ( and sporting TV broadcasts in particular) isn't seen as an essential service and therefore is a market driven by capitalism.

@sweetheart4321 I've been very critical of Sky in the past when they have done things i believe are wrong, so your point is yet again incorrect.

If you want to watch pay TV or any of the PPV events then you pay the fee, its that simple, when it comes to boxing the price is set by the promoters and not the broadcasters, if you have a problem with that then either complain to the promoter and express your displeasure at them trying to make money or try to find another legal service that offers it for free(you may be looking for a very long time).

ok then dave,il admit ive not read all the posts on the community forum,its just the ones i seem to read everyone on here suports sky,but has i said ive not read them all.
