Sky 2024 Picks (Satellite 303 - Sky Glass/Stream 303) changes name to SkyBlockbuster / BlockbustersHD (temporary change)

Thursday 8th

Sky Sports Arena rebrands to Sky Sports+ / Sky Sports+ HD

Friday 9th

Monday 12th August 2024

Sky Bruce Lee (Satellite 304/849 - Sky Glass/Stream 304) renames to Sky Greats / Sky Greats HD (reverting from a temporary change)

Saturday 17th August 2024

Sky Greats (Satellite 304/849 - Sky Glass/Stream 304) renames to and SkyNicolasCage/NicolasCageHD

Monday 19th August 2024

Sky Nicolas Cage (Satellite 304/849 - Sky Glass/Stream 304) renames to Sky Greats / Sky Greats HD (reverting from a temporary change)
That's 80s rebrands to That’s Melody and moves from EPG number 365 to 361 on satellite only
That's 90s rebrands to That’s Rock and moves from EPG number 366 to 359 on satellite only

Tuesday 20th August 2024

Hi sky community

I just found out that the listings for sky sports arena for the week commencing Monday 5th august that tennis from ATP and WTA tours will be available to watch on sky sports main event, sky sports tennis and sky sports arena at the same time.

So my feelings are that Sky will rename sky sports arena as sky sports + channel.

be interesting to hear your thoughts about sky sports arena becoming sky sports + good move or bad move?.

It looks like Sky Sports + is replacing Sky Sports Arena from next Thursday 8th August 2024, channel 410 on Sky Stream. Not too sure whether it will be in UHD though 🤔

The Sky press release does not mention UHD.

Yes the linear channel swap will take place from 6pm on Thursday 8th August.

One change for Sky Q customers, is the red button golf ( currently supplied over satellite on Sky Q) along with how the new current Tennis and all the Sky sports + extra streams will all now be over broadband, not satellite.

They are available via the Xumo play app now.

Will be integrated into the tv guide on Sky stream later this year.

As mentioned in the recent Sky press release;

Later this year, the new FAST channels will be available on Sky Q and integrated into the TV guide on Sky Glass and Sky Stream for seamless discovery alongside Sky Ultimate TV’s lineup of over 150 channels.

Yesterday (30 July), Sky launched 6 new FAST channels via the Xumo Play app on Sky Glass/Stream. They are:

Pick Paranormal
Emergency 24/7
Sky Presents Artist of The Year
Sky Sports Stories
Sky Sports Classics
Sky Sports Vault

For Sky Q, and for the EPG guide (on Sky Q/Glass/Stream) the Xumo Play app and channels will be added later this year.

On my stream, my channels 901 and 902 are now HD and also I have lost channels 903 - 905 or around these numbers. I do have 401 UHD thankfully

@Super+Anthony @D+Hig They are still available by manually typing in the channel nunbers as are the 2 Low Latency streams 921 & 922
