A poor signal is something that can cause this so try going through this to see if it helps:

https://www.sky.com/help/broadband/my-broadband-speed/improving-wi-fi-signal-to-my-devices/articles/improve-the-wi-fi-signal-to-your-devices

If not and if you have Wi-Fi Max on your account at about £6 per month then Sky will loan up to 3 pods as you can read about here:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max

The first one can be self installed while a second and third will require an engineer visit.

So you can either call them on 150 from a landline phone or a mobile that has a Sky sim in it or Select "No, I still need help" at the bottom on the above link.

Alternatives are homeplugs or your own mesh network.

Hi,

I have a netgear wn3000rp extender, its a few years old as I didn't need it with plusnet etc.... I can't get it working for some reason, no idea if its because of the sky stupid hub or something else. All the lights are working on the extender, so seems to be working, just won't connect using wps and I can't set up online.

wish I had stayed with plusnet now?!

Unless you're happy researching your own mesh system (or know someone who can help) then consider the Sky Max pods mentioned above, you'll need to call Sky.
