OPT OUT OF MAP-T ASAP !!!

Hi,

I am on a Sky Gigafast wired connection (Xbox) and experiencing severe, persistent "unstable connection" lag spikes exclusively during online peer-to-peer multiplayer matches in EA Sports FC.

My local network details are:

Connection: Wired Ethernet
NAT Type: Open (IPv4 Active Only)
Ping: Flat 10–15ms
Packet Loss: 0% on standard local network tests

It is clear that my line has been provisioned on Sky's MAP-T infrastructure, and the artificial packet encapsulation.

Could a Community Manager please escalate this to the backend engineering team so my account can be opted out of MAP-T and reverted to a standard native IPv4 profile?

@Paul_Wright85 given MAP-T only affects the white hubs please confirm you have one of those and the enabling UPnP which switches the share from 8:1 to 1:1 has not solved the issue as has been reported elsewhere. See UPnP set up

thanks for your reply. I can confirm I am on the white Sky Max Hib. I have uPnP enabled and my Map-T is enabled and is reading 1:1

@Paul_Wright85 Sky arexaware of the issue affecting this game I am not sure that the network team will disable MAP-T ifcaskked bybtgecescalation team. However I am escalating your post to the Sky team who support the forum who should be in touch soon to offer you a private online chat session to get this sorted. Keep an eye on the forum as if you miss the message just click the brightly coloured chat icon which will be added to the forum pages for you to use.saving a long phone call.
