@GraemeFletcher

For your information you do have a Sky Talk landline as it's bundled with your broadband package but if you have chosen not to connect an actual handset that's fine and entirely your choice.

In the future you can plug in a cheap handset when you need to call Sky (dialling 150 free) if the Sky Talk side of things are working..

Call Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from a Sky mobile or your Sky Talk landline if you have Sky Broadband. The forum doesn't allow the display of other numbers but official numbers to Sky from the UK are 03 numbers which are usually inclusive from non Sky phones.

All calls start automated (aka 'the bot') which may offer you an online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and sometimes saying nothing when asked the reason for the call helps being put in the queue for an agent.

Wifi setup

I have recently "upgraded" my wifi to Max. (As it offered parental controls) I live in an old house with thick walls thus I have installed this together with the three sky boostert that I already had from previous sky hub/router. All devices are still in the same location as previous. (2 boosters to the North and one West of the hub) I now have very unreliable Wi-Fi and devices keep dropping from the network. I need to restart Wi-Fi daily to connect work laptop in the morning. Many devices such as televisions and phone will drop on and off the network or struggle to connect at all? Interestingly, I can still see my old network as a Wi-Fi option on many devices? (Not sure why) How can I get support as the trouble shooting has not helped? Thanks Graeme

Those won't work properly with a Max Hub.

Max has its own WiFi 'pods'.

As you already have 'Wi-Fi Max', Sky will loan you up to 3 booster pods. Call Sky to arrange the first one. Just dial 150 free from your Sky Talk landline.

To add a second or third pod it requires an engineer visit to check your set up.
