Hi

I've just had a new broadband supply from Sky.

Openreach engineers installed a new phone socket on the wall yesterday afternoon, and done the switch work in the cab nearby.

The internet light is still not on at the router. Openreach did line tests before they left and said everything was fine.

I did a line test on my account and your service is saying it can't detect my router at all. Yet it is plugged in.

Are you sure it was a phone socket they installed as on a fibre installation it would be something called an ONT (Optical network terminal) to which your broadband hub would connect to so is this the setup you have ?
