Wifi patchy in TV and devices

One of the downstairs TV's sometimes cuts out completely or sounds cuts out as well as wifi connected devices being very slow and patchy? The other TV which is in the same room as router seems fine. Wifi connectivity in the room withiut the router is an issue.

A poor signal is something that can cause this so try going through this to see if it helps:

If not and if you have Wi-Fi Max on your account at about £6 per month then Sky will loan up to 3 pods as you can read about here:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max

The first one can be self installed while a second and third will require an engineer visit.

So you can either call them on 150 from a landline phone or a mobile that has a Sky sim in it or Select "No, I still need help" at the bottom on the above link.

Alternatives are homeplugs or your own mesh network.

I forgot to say, we are a brand new Sky Customer. Not expected after a week after installation!

Plus the reason for moving to Sky was price in v to Virgin, so not having the service I am paying for is fustrating. Only to be told to spend more money to get a wifi guarentee!!!

Spoke to Sky Tech today who just made us reset broadband but to no avail, still rubbish wifi in th 2nd room. Thinking about moving back to Virgin!!!!
