Hi,

my broadband was down for 6 days due to an external issue. Do I need to contact sky to sort out the compensation or does it get sorted automatically?

@NR2026 Broadband Auto compensation kicks in 2 working days (excludes weekends and bank holidays) after being reported, so in your case it will be 4 working days, not 6, see this link https://www.sky.com/help/articles/auto-compensation

This auto compensation is applied 30 days after the fault has been repaired and will come in the form of a credit appearing on your Sky account (from April 2026 the rate has increased to £10.34 for every complete day).
