By default if you order a second or third pod Sky will send an engineer to set it up for you.

We have sky max and a pod but it's still not reaching all around the house, tried to find a way to order anothe rood but can't seem to find out how, is it worth another pod or worth someone coming out to look as per the contract?

Give Sky a call later. Additional pods require an engineer visit to check your set up, https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max
