topic Dishonourable promises in Broadband

I had intended to give my 31 days cancellation notice a few days ago however, the retention operative did his job very well and offered me a good deal but, it required me to change my hardware from my very efficient sky Q box to a streaming puck. Anyway, I agreed to the deal which also included my full fibre 75mbps broadband to go up to 150mbps. Now I should mention, my tv package was due to expire October 6th and my broadband in November therefore, I had intended to cancel the tv package and let the broadband run its course until November but as I said, I accepted a new contract. Two things have happened, the streaming puck isn't a patch on the sky q box even after 10 years of use plus, I've not had my broadband increased to the 150mbps in fact, when I called then 2 days ago, they claimed there was nothing on my account to indicate a better broadband speed. I'm really angry that I allowed myself to be duped and sucked in. I can of course cancel the whole lot as the new contract only commenced September 3rd so I'm well within the cooling off period. Has this happened to anyone else and if so, what did you do.

It might be worth putting in a complaint giving the date and time you spoke to Sky so that someone can listen to what was said to you:
