@Erichobbs not sure if you mean the new g=fibre ONT box mounted on the wall or your Sky hub. The lights on the Sky hub tell you its status see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/hub-lights-explained-start

If tge line is dropping then talk to Sky. However in many casescits not the broadband connection that is the problem rsther itscthe WiFi coversge. if your hub has been moved which commonly happens when full fibre is installed that will often cause the WiFi signal to change. In a few cases where customers have Skype Q and the switch to fibre came with a new white Sky hub the Q boxesxstop acting as WiFi extenders which also changes the WiFi signal.

Poor WiFi coverage is probably the most common question we get in the forum. In many homes a single Sky hub cannot provide a usable wifi signal in every room due to the layout and type of construction of the property especially in older homes. Assuming the hub is in the best possible position which is out in the open on a surfsce then the only answer is additional wifi sources.

Your choice.is to either buy Sky's add-on WiFi Max bundle which can supply up to 3 extenders see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max or buy your own wifi system and use that instead of the Sky hub's WiFi.
