It was my father talking to Sky support, who I should say were very polite and friendly.

The lady on the phone said his address is right in one place/database, and wrong in another. All I can see in his MySky is the incomplete address.

Since it was a switch , and BT have called him multiple times to try to persuade him to stay, I'm fairly sure they'll change the right connection.

He's today got the box dispatched message. So it's too late now. Either it will get delivered correctly, or it won't.

My dad signed up for Sky Broadband on Friday.

switching Internet and phone from BT

His activation / switchover date is Sep 1st

On checking in MySky app his address is wrong. Street address is correct, but apartment number is missing.

called both Friday and today and nobody can help us with this. Say we need wait 24 hours. First 24 hours since account setup , now just a random 24 hours because they cannot send any authorisation code by phone or email. Because "we take data protection very seriously".

nee box/router will therefore be sent with wrong address , and as it's controlled entry with just flat number, no names, I'd say 80% DHL / Evri / ... guy doesn't successfully deliver.

can anyone help me / my dad with this ?

@kcfm first point your father has to call as the account holder Sky cannot talk to you unless you father has confirmed to Sky previously they can w hich explains the GDPR comment. Secondly while the apartment number is missing from the address you can see it could be on the order as a separate field. A lot depends on how the address reads on Openreeach's database which you can query here Openreach Checker
