My router was missing from my pack and a replacement will not arrive in time for my activation date. I need to check if sky will still switch me over or if I stay with my current provider until I plug the router in.

Hi @Lisa518

Your line will still switch over regardless of whether you have the hub.

Oh no! My box arrived today missing the router and after eventually getting through to someone they said it can be 72 hrs before I get a reply let alone a replacementI and I work from home!!!!

can I put back the activation date do you know?

@Lisa518 if you have an existing Sky Broadband hub it is likely thst Sky have sent you a new cable to connect that to your new connection.

No I'm new to sky but managed to get help through the online complaints procedure. Thanks anyway!

Its possible but unlikely if your activation date is within the next 48hrs
