The drops always last for 1-2 mins, it's auper annoying though, especially since I can only Work from Home, and I also play videogames and stream 😭

For the last few months rhe internet has dropped out randomly. Can go several days with bo drops, to 20+ drops in a single hour. Random times of day too.

Everytime I use sky checker during these drops, it says everything is working fine and connected.

And I can never contact support, it's always a stupid clanker.

The service checker doesn't necessarily disclose a problem immediately and there can be an hour plus delay before it picks up a lost connection which is why on here we tend to advise on trying it again later.

@Jessica69

It's worth adding that Sky broadband discussed here is a domestic service and whilst Sky are apparently fine with its customers working from home using it for this purpose they won't receive any additional or quicker support.

Call Customer Services by dialling 150 free from either a Sky mobile or your Sky Talk landline if you have Sky Broadband (and it's still working). The forum doesn't allow the display of other numbers but official numbers to Sky from the UK are 03 numbers which are usually inclusive from non Sky phones.

All calls will start automated (aka 'the bot' or as you describe it a 'clanker') which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and sometimes saying nothing when asked the reason for the call helps being put in the queue for an agent.
