topic Openreach Install Delays in Broadband

Our fiber install date was meant to be 12th June and still awaiting activation.
Initially the issue was congested ducts, and Openreach came out a few times to try and clear and remove old cables that were causing blocks, but in the end they said they were going to route the cable to another point in the other direction as they couldn't get through. We have the ONT installed, and instead of the red LOS we now have a flashing green PON so have been connected up to another route - this happened just over 2 weeks ago and the engineer said it may take 24 hours or require another visit. Nothing changes and someone from Openreach appeared on the drive for an hour after a couple of days, but left without any update.
Since then I have used chat with Sky a number of times and been given different timeframes and issues - from being a profile or routing issue to requiring new splitters etc. to be installed, but with no idea when anything may happen.
Is there any way to escalate with Openreach to get a timeframe or some detail around what is required?

Thanks for any suggestions!

@gap_84 it is frustrating when these issues arise. There is very little you or Sky can domto expedite the install. The only positive is you should be accruing compensation see Customer Auto-Compensation | Sky Help | Sky.com

On my own install the compensation covered the first 6 months payments.

Thanks @Chrisee , completely appreciate that little Sky can do, but with no way to contact Openreach myself was hoping there is a way to get more definitive details of what is going on - fortunately I still have a usable internet connection so can just accrue more of the compensation as you mention while this continues!
