topic Internet lagging in Broadband

Hello. I had an engineer out a couple of weeks ago who installed fibre. The router was moved from downstairs to upstairs where I work from home and it's on my desk.
I thought the signal would be super strong but but laptop lags a lot and it's making it difficult to have Teams calls and get into programs on my laptop.
I do have a booster which was moved when the engineer came and is now downstairs. Since the change the signal is not strong and it's impacting my work.

@LouG2 ifvyour the hub is near your laptop can you use an Ethernet cable instrad of WiFi? If you cannot you can be too close to the hub as it uses multiple aerials which can cause inteference patterns in the area immeadiatly near the hub so make sure the laptop is at least metre from the hub.

Move the extender closer to the hub so it has a better backhaul connection typically the hall or landing are the best places.
