Unable to install internet

I was informed by city fibre that the internet could not be installed into my flat, as it ment they would have to cut into private land, but my main question is at present I have a cable running from a pole in the street, why can the same route not be taken for the fibre.

Also before city fibre said they could not do it I agreed with a payment of £22 per month but because of no fault of mine they want to put my bill up to £49 ????

All I get when phone is pushed from one dept to another WITHOUT any clear answers

Cityfibre don't run their infrastructure from telegraph poles, if the land owner won't give permission then there's nothing they or you can do about that.

The existing cable running from the telegraph pole will be an Openreach line. Where both OR and Cityfibre are available, Sky will always default to the Cityfibre infrastructure. Other suppliers may be able to upgrade your line to FTTP via the pole but the local exchange has to be enabled first.

Are you out of minimum term for your ADSL/FTTC broadband from Sky? That's the only reason the price should be going up.
