Does your laptop not have a ethernet port, if not then if you have Wi-Fi Max on your account then Sky will loan up to 3 pods as you can read about here:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max

So you can either call them on 150 from a landline phone or a mobile that has a Sky sim in it or Select "No, I still need help" at the bottom on the above link.

@Hollymalamed

While an extender may be a solution to your problem, there could be an alternative. Your message implies to me that you are using a home plug for ethernet connection ? If so, why not get on with two ethernet ports and connect your laptop via ethernet too?

Sorry if I have misunderstood your configuration, please clarify if so and I will try to help further.
