So this vague "Prices MAY rise" bit, actually means it definitely will but we're not saying when or how much?

Think I'll give it a miss, I like to know what I'm getting into before I sign up.

Hi, shortly finishing my contract with Vodafone and looking on Uswitch for a better deal. Sky don't say there will be a price rise in April as usual (like all the others)

Below is what is stated in the "Price details". So my question is, will there be any price rises during my contract? It seems unclear with what is stated.

Thanks

Monthly cost

Price may rise during contract

Months 1 - 24 £29.00

Including any introductory offers, add-ons and annual price rises over your contract length.

Historically there's always been a rise.

Ofcom now requires providers to either give a pounds and pence figure before the minimum contract term begins or permit subscribers to exit without penalty when the increase is announced.

That's historically what's happened.

Perhaps worth noting that the pounds and pence increases being quoted by other ISPs are currently several times the expected UK inflation rate: that's a rather unfortunate side-effect of this approach to pricing.
