This is possibly due to the phone connecting on the 2.5Ghz as oppose to 5Ghz bands assuming you have the statdard Sky Router. I suggest deleting the wifi network, restarting the phone and then adding the network as if it were new.

Sky app states that our WiFi is giving a speed of 300mb/s but my when I do a broadband speed check on my phone the speed is only around 20mb/s and it's similar on my partner's phone, her phone is really struggling with internet speed. The sky stream for the TV is ok most of the time but does take some time to buffer intermittently. Not sure if we need a booster or if there is another reason why the router is giving out a fast speed but our devices aren't picking it up?

Is that the speed for WiFi, or for broadband arriving at the Hub?
