New Build - No ONT box - What next?

Hello,

Placed an order for sky broadband which states activation date of 14 August.

It is a new build property with the no ONT box.

Checking the Openreach site states: "ONT exists with no active service. A spare port is available. A new ONT may be ordered."

Will I need to contact Sky or is this something that will be sorted automatically?

'ONT exists with no active service' indicates that Openreach records say one has been fitted.

Unfortunately it's typically the case that you'd have to wait until past the activation date to report the missing hardware.
