Questions about my broadband switch and installation”

Hello, my Sky account number(can I show in here) .I signed up for Sky Broadband on 4/8.

I am currently with NOW Broadband (account number-can I show for you in here ), which is already out of contract (ends 2/9/2026).

1. Can you confirm whether Sky will notify NOW to terminate my contract, or do I need to do this myself?
2. If my Sky installation goes ahead on 21/8, will my NOW Broadband contract also be terminated on the same date (21/8), or on a different date?
3. I don’t seem to be able to attach a photo in this chat, so to describe it: I already have an Openreach Master Socket (marked ‘5C’, labelled ‘Openreach MK4’) installed and in use on my wall. For my installation on 21/8, can you confirm the engineer will be able to use this existing socket, and that no drilling into the wall will be required?

It depends on if you're getting full fibre or still using FTTC

Putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker may indicate which broadband provisioning type is applicable.
