topic Broadband Speed in Broadband

Hello, I had my broadband fitted yesterday. The router is in the dining room and works fine in there, when I move to my living room, less than 10ft away, it is really slow on my TV and mobile device. I have checked the speeds using your app and it says it is working as it should but it isn't. Can you help? Do you have a WiFi booster I might need? Thanks

@Karin-- you are not talking to Sky when you post in this forum. Check that the router is out in the open off the floor on a surface away from other equipment as thst should imptove its WiFi signal. What lies between the hub and your device is more important than the distance. If your property has solid brick walls WiFi spedds will inevitably be impacted.

Sky do supply boisters but you havecto buy their WiFi Max sdd-on as explained here https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max.
