topic WiFi dropping in Broadband

Hi everyone,
I’m hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction.
I live in a new-build coach house, and my Sky router is installed in the communications cupboard by the front door because that’s where the broadband comes into the property. Unfortunately, my living room is upstairs, and the WiFi regularly drops out or becomes very slow there.
As the router can’t really be moved, I’m wondering if anyone has had a similar setup and whether Sky were able to provide a WiFi Pod/extender or another solution to improve the coverage.
Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

@Charlottemered

A poor signal in certain rooms is something that can cause this so try going through this to see if it helps:

https://www.sky.com/help/broadband/my-broadband-speed/improving-wi-fi-signal-to-my-devices/articles/improve-the-wi-fi-signal-to-your-devices

If not and if you have Wi-Fi Max on your account then Sky will loan up to 3 pods as you can read about here:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max

So you can either call them on 150 from a landline phone or a mobile that has a Sky sim in it or Select "No, I still need help" at the bottom on the above link.
